for victor frankenstein it’s really just like his own self-hatred and self-disgust drips through every single page of that novel, and for all that emotion he never seems to get that what he is at fault for is profound inaction, again and again and again, and he never even comes close to understanding that he could have avoided it all through compassion. For the artist asks... 5. What's your favourite thing to draw? and 7. How often do you use references?
I like drawing hands and hair a lot! I wouldn’t say those things are the easiest for me to draw but I feel like they add a lot of character.
I use references at least once in almost every piece I do, though it’s not usually for anything focal. It’s only for when I can’t remember what certain objects look like or what a character is wearing. At this point, I only use anatomy references when I’m explicitly trying to practice because I want to get used to drawing poses that I come up with.
